Denver, CO - December 12, 2006 - No Sleep Media LLC., a Denver-based Internet company, today announced the launch of their flagship product,, a social alerts service that lets people create "loops" that other people can subscribe to.

The site launched Sunday night after 14 months in development and has already been reported on at and eHub on In the first days that the site has been live it has attracted over 5000 unique visitors, and registered more than 600 users who have created over 200 loops (group topics).

Loop owners can send alerts (notes) out to all subscribers who can choose to receive messages via mobile phone, email, instant messenger or RSS. Loopnote lets people with common interests all ?stay in the loop?. Unlike services like MySpace that allow people to create hundreds of connections based on ?who they know?, loopnote is meant to let people connect based on ?what they know?.

"We think this will be a big hit, especially with sports teams, organizations, and music bands who want to send quick one-way messages to a group of subscribers to let them know about something important," said Martin May, co-founder and lead engineer for "We've been working very hard towards building a great way for people to quickly and easily create alerts for each other about things that matter to them".

Loopnote makes it extremely easy for non tech-savvy people to create a loop and send alerts to subscribers. Privacy is also extremely important to the team. They've made sure that personal information is never shared with other users, not even loop moderators. "We wanted to give people the flexibility to get alerts any way they choose, whether it's by email, instant messenger, cell phone, or RSS feed, but we didn't want to force people to give up their privacy." said Brady Becker, co-founder and lead designer on

"We're very encouraged by the positive response we've had from users so far", said Alan Seideman, co-founder and head of marketing for "We've received dozens of comments from users telling us how much they love the service and how they're so glad there's finally something like this out there."
