Stephen Burley, Distinguished Research Scholar at Eli Lilly to give a Featured Presentation on “Fragment-based Structure-guided Discovery of Protein Kinase Inhibitors with Favorable Drug-like Properties” at the 6th Drug Design & Medicinal Chemistry Conference (June 7-8, 2012 in San Diego, CA)

Recent experiences in fragment-based structure-guided protein kinase inhibitor drug discovery at a small biotechnology company and a large pharmaceutical company will be described. The rationale for achieving outcomes with favorable physico-chemical attributes/properties (MW<400, LogP/LogD<3) will be discussed in detail.
